About us
Operation: Veteran Smiles is a project that was started by a young lady named Amelia Day. Since it's start in 2012, Amelia has grown this project from creating handmade cards to including hand delivered hygiene care packages, musical therapy and special events for our Veterans being treated at the Carl Vinson, Dublin, Veterans Hospital in Dublin, Georgia and beyond.
To date, almost 20,000 Veterans have been a recipient of cards & care packages in 17 states. This is thanks to the help of more than 8,500 volunteers.
The mission: to help bring smiles to our injured or ill Veterans.

OUR MISSION
The mission of Operation: Veteran Smiles (OVS) is to bring smiles to Veterans receiving long-term treatment at Veteran's Administration Hospitals throughout the U.S. We exist to give back to those who have served our country through military service.
Through regular visits to deliver cards, hygiene care packages, musical therapy and special events, OVS continues it's mission to brighten the lives of those who have selflessly served our country.
